"Sharp pain" or "dull aches" are frustrating when running or hitting balls. How can you perform your best when having discomfort? You may feel as if your only option is to take painkillers or stop tennis (maybe that's what your doctor told you was your only option...)
Let's be honest...you don't believe it is an option to just "stop playing tennis". It's something you love. It's a part of you.
I work closely with tennis players on a regular basis. What I can tell you is that all those painkillers are not good for your stomach, and the long periods of rest you've been told about are not likely to help. Why? Because they don't solve the MAIN PROBLEM. Painkillers and rest are "bandaids" that temporarily relieve pain. What happens when you stop doing them? The pain returns...
Active adults do not have to live with nagging aches and pains. In fact, it is not normal for people to have these discomforts. There are ways to train your body to be able to withstand the high activity level of tennis AND keep your body healthy.
I don't want you to suffer from unnecessary injury. Because of this, I've written this report that gives tennis players information about 7 common injuries seen in tennis players that typically don't heal with rest. This is available to you...for free!
I want you to image how life would be in 3 months if you could alleviate the discomfort from your injury NOW? How about 6 months? A year? I bet you have goals that you want to accomplish on the court. Let's not let an injury stop you.
